Music History Today: April 25, 2023

April 25, 1987: Crowded House peaked at Number 2 on Billboard's Hot 100 with "Don't Dream It's Over" from their self-titled debut album. 
On the back of a seismic chart performance by their single ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over,’ the world woke up to Crowded House’s rousing debut album.

Music History Today: January 10, 2022

January 10, 1987: Bon Jovi entered the top 40 section of the US music chart on the way to the top with "Livin' On a Prayer." 

The follow-up to their Number 1 hit "You Give Love A Bad Name," "Livin' On a Prayer" tells the story of Tommy and Gina, two kids working to make it on their own despite constant hardships.

By the time the Hall & Oates’s eleventh studio album H20 was released they already had numerous hits. “Sara Smile” and “Rich Girl” put them on the map in the mid ‘70s.
