April 3, 2010: "Telephone" by Lady Gaga & Beyonce topped out at Number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Originally written by Lady Gaga and several collaborators for Britney Spears “Telephone” appeared on “The Fame Monster,” a more adventurous coda to Gaga’s debut album, “The Fame.”

"Again" by Lenny Kravitz was the only new song from his first Greatest Hits album. It was initially set to be on his sixth studio album.

Music History Today: November 20, 2020

November 20, 1947: Joe Walsh of the Eagles and the James Gang is born Joseph Fidler Walsh in Wichita, Kansas.

At the turn of the '70s, Joe Walsh led the James Gang through a trio of studio recordings highlighted by the ageless 'Funk #49," then embarked on a solo career also included the 1973 Top 40 hit 'Rocky Mountain Way.'  Walsh continued releasing solo projects after the Eagles' 1980 breakup.

July 17, 1959: While under arrest for illegal possession of narcotics, Billie Holiday dies at age 44 at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City.
On May 31, 1959, Billy Holiday was taken to Metropolitan Hospital in New York suffering from liver and heart disease.
