March 15, 1976: KISS released their album Destroyer, featuring "Detroit Rock City" and "Beth."
The pressure was on Kiss for their fifth release, and the band knew it. Their breakthrough, Alive!, was going to be hard to top, so instead of trying to recreate a concert setting in the studio, they went the opposite route.

June 24,  1995: Pulse, a live album from Pink Floyd, debuted at Number 1 on the LP chart.

Pink Floyd claim they had no intention of recording another live album when they began the Division Bell tour, but performing The Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety convinced the group to release another double-live set, called Pulse.

April 3, 1922: Actress and singer Doris Day was born Doris Mary Ann Kappelhoff in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Doris Day studied ballet and tap dance growing up. She even won a local dance contest with her partner Jerry Doherty in her early teens.
