"Knock on Wood" was Eddie Floyd's biggest hit. He wrote the song with Stax Records guitarist Steve Cropper in the Lorraine Motel, which is where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in 1968.

September 10, 1982: The Weather Girls released "It's Raining Men."
The Weather Girls honed their singing in church, and developed remarkably powerful voices.
They were overweight, but that didn't deter the singer/producer Sylvester, who hired them to sing on his recordings, including the 1978 hit "Dance (Disco Heat)."

"Photograph" by Nickelback is about reviewing the memories - missed and forgotten - from the band's childhood in Hanna, Alberta. The lyrics are a chronicle of real events and personal landmarks lead singer Chad Kroeger recalled as he wrote it.
