November 13, 1968: The animated Beatles film "Yellow Submarine" was released in the United States. 

The soundtrack to "Yellow Submarine" includes the previously released single, "All You Need is Love."

The Fab Four played this for the first time on the "Our World" project, the first worldwide TV special. Broadcast in 24 countries on June 25, 1967, the show was six hours long and featured music from 6 continents, with The Beatles representing Britain.

November 13, 1982: "You Got Lucky" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers entered Billboard's Hot 100 at Number 58. 

Musically, "You Got Lucky" of the more distinctive Tom Petty songs, which helped it endure as a Classic Rock favorite. The video was pioneering because the song didn't start until over a minute into the clip. Inspired by the Mad Max films, we see a desolate, futuristic landscape where Petty discovers and old boom box which plays the song. The band wrote the treatment themselves.

November 13, 1999: Savage Garden moved into the top 40 section of Billboard's Hot 100 on its way to the top with "I Knew I Loved You."

Savage Garden’s self-titled 1997 debut went platinum seven times over, and it launched a couple of singles into the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, including the #1 hit “Truly Madly Deeply.” “I Knew I Loved You” sounds a bit like someone trying to recapture the magic of “Truly Madly Deeply,”It spent four weeks at Number 1 in America before it was unseated by another wedding favorite: "Amazed" by Lonestar.

November 13, 2012: Universal Music Group released a posthumous live album, Amy Winehouse, at the BBC, comprised of features live songs performed by Winehouse at BBC specials from 2004 to 2009.
