Leon Redbone’s career first gained momentum in the early ‘70’s when Bob Dylan sought him out at the Mariposa Folk Festival.

In a Rolling Stone interview, Dylan mentioned that if he ever started a label, Redbone would be the first artist he wanted to record.

August 26 1978: Foxy's dance hit, "Get Off," moved into Billboard's top 40 section.
Four of the five members of Foxy left Cuba and arrived in Miami in 1959. Percussionist Richie Puente is the son of Tito Puente. When KC & The Sunshine Band were on tour, Foxy became the house band for Miami's TK Productions.
