June 26, 2010: "Alejandro" reached Number 5 on the Hot 100, becoming Lady Gaga's seventh consecutive top ten hit in the United States.
"Alejandro" by Lady Gaga, the third single released from The Fame Monster EP,  was inspired by her "Fear of Sex Monster".

The singer bids farewell to her lovers over mid-tempo synth-pop music with a Europop beat.

June 26, 1965: A cover of "Theme From a Summer Place” by the male vocal group The Lettermen entered the American Hot 100. It reached Number 16.


June 26, 1971: Their second week on the US charts, The Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" raced from Number 85 to 47. 
For three days in December 1969, the Rolling Stones stopped into Muscle Shoals studios in Alabama and managed to lay down three songs, one of which was “Wild Horses.” “Brown Sugar” was one of the other two, so you could say it was a productive stint.

June 26, 1982: Crosby, Stills and Nash entered at Number 48 on the US music chart with "Wasted On The Way."
"Wasted on the Way" was Crosby, Stills & Nash's first top 10 hit in five years. It peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts in August 1982.

June 26, 1999: "Secrets" by One Republic entered Billboard's Hot 100 at Number 98. 
"Secrets," from One Republic's Waking Up album, was released as the first single in Germany and Austria owing to its presence on the soundtrack of Til Schweiger's film Zweiohrküken. The song was released in the United States iTunes Store on November 3, 2010.
